NOTE:
Leathy ROBERTS was Lethia CLIAN-ROBERTS, wife of Elisha ROBERTS having married him in Cherokee Co., NC right after the 1840 census.  It is suspected that Lethia's mother, Sarah, was first married to a CLINE bef 1820 and then to John Bailus STANDRIDGE, Sr. of Cherokee Co.,  NC bef 1840 AND  Lethia's sister, Rebecca CLINE b. 1824, married Leroy GOIN abt 1842.

John STANDRIDGE, Sr. had been in the Macon/Cherokee Co., NC area since before 1820.  But, for some reason John with his new wife Sarah, Lethia & Elisha ROBERTS family, and Rebecca without Leroy but with her children, all moved to Gilmer Co., GA in 1849 and are on the 1850 Gilmer Co., GA census.  It is suspected that someone in the CLINE or ROBERTS family died in Gilmer about this time.

Mrs. Sarah CLINE-STANDRIDGE died after 1860 in Cherokee Co., NC.  Lethia CLINE-ROBERTS died 1900 Ducktown, Polk Co., TN and Rebecca CLINE-GOIN died after 1880 in Yahoo Co., CA.  John STANDRIDGE, Sr. died 1851-1860 in either Gilmer Co., GA or Cherokee Co. NC  Elisha/Eli/Elijah ROBERTS b. abt 1810 died 1863-1864.

Elijah & Anna Miranda ROBERTS mentioned in this deed were Lethia's twins born 1854 GA.  Their siblings born beforehand, along with Elisha, were omitted from this deed.  Why?
