OBITUARY For Elias Berry BOWERS

Mr. E. B. BOWERS, proprietor of the Central Hotel in Blue Ridge, died last
Saturday night about 11:00 o'clock from an attach of acute indigestion. The news
of his death on Sunday morning came as a shock to his many friends and
acquaintances. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.C. Callan at Trinity
M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 after which the remains were interred at
Harmony Cemetery. He leaves a wife, four sons and four daughters to mourn his
loss.
