To my wife, Sarah, I leave the Indian woman named Rose and her two children, as well as the
plantation for the duration of her life. At my wife's death, the plantation to go to my son, James Akin.

The remainder of my estate is to go to my wife, and she is to be my executrix.

Codicil: to my four children: James Akin, Mary Womack, Elizabeth Farlow, and Sarah Nunnaly, each 12 pence.
