In Spring of 1978, a small
reunion organized by Lucille
ROBERTS-CARGILE-BENNETT. We had folks all the way
from Lakeland, FL.
Lucille's mother, Mary BOWERS-ROBERTS, had
prepared prior to her stroke in the early 1970's a few pages of notes
on the family.
She would talk while her young grandson, Ken Kimble, would write
it down. Although only about 65 percent turned out to be factual based
upon further research, it was very helpful.
