C.A.T.'s personal database now exceeds 64,000 individuals, 19,000 marriages records that she has individually keyed and researched over countless hours over the past 17+ years. Sources are included as well as extensive 'notes' per individual where she gathers research information including such things as marriage compilations for that surname, any records that might possibly be relevant, those that are applicable as well as census transcriptions on each individual, will and deed transcriptions, and obits. She also researches allied lines as part of her standard method of research of those in the direct ancestors families. She tries to include parents' names for each spouse in the entire database. Please keep in mind that your research may be different from hers. It's not that your research is right and hers is wrong, or vice versa. It is probably because of the amount of resources reviewed is different in which to draw conclusions. In other words, everyone is at a different stopping point in their research on each individual in their family...that is all. Always be prepared to share documentation and your sources as well as your descendant outlines. This way everyone can work off of the same page and come to a joint conclusion based on the most available information.
